1. OVERVIEW

Techslang (the “Site”) is owned and operated by Polylead Limited. Any access and use of the Site are subject to the terms and conditions (“Terms of Use”) stipulated below.

The information on the Site is made available for informational purposes only and on an “as is” basis at the sole risk of the user.


3. TECHSLANG INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Limited License to our Intellectual Property

Polylead Limited owns all materials displayed on the Site, including but not limited to text, artwork, photographs, graphics, video, illustrations, service marks, names, trademarks, and logos, all of which are protected by relevant copyright laws.


4. PROHIBITIONS

The Site can only be used for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Use, and prohibit users to:

  • Violate applicable state, federal, local, or international laws or regulations.
  • Impersonate or misrepresent Techslang and any of its employees, or any other user, individual, or entity by using, among other means, the email addresses or screen names associated with them.
  • Engage in any action that limits or inhibits another user’s use or enjoyment of the Site, harm Techslang or its users, or expose them to liability.

5. CONTENT THAT MAY BE MADE AVAILABLE ON THE SITE

Contributions from Users

Users may post, submit, publish, display, or transmit to other users or persons content or materials on or through the Site via message boards and other interactive features that the Site may provide.

Users are responsible for any contributions they may submit or contribute, and acknowledge that they, and not the Site, have full responsibility for their content’s legality, accuracy, and appropriateness.


Content monitoring, enforcement, and termination

The Site has the right to:

  • Take out or disallow the posting of any user contributions for any or no reason.
  • Initiate legal action, or refer to law enforcement agencies, following any illegal or unauthorized use of the Site.
  • Discontinue or suspend access to a part of or all of the Site for any or no reason, including violations of these Terms of Use.


Content guidelines

The following guidelines apply to any and all user contributions and use of the Site’s interactive services. User contributions must comply with all applicable state, federal, local, and international laws and regulations in their entirety and must not:

  • Violate other people’s legal rights, such as rights to publicity and privacy, or contain any material that could be subject to civil or criminal liability under applicable laws or regulations.

  • Promote commercial or sales promotion activities such as contests, raffles, barter, or advertising campaigns.
  • Impersonate any person, or misrepresent identity or affiliation with any individual or organization.
  • Give the wrong impression that they come from or are endorsed by us or any other individual or entity.

6.  LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

Use the Site at your own risk. Losses or injuries, or any direct, indirect, accidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of such use, access, or inability to access the Site and its content cannot be claimed to be the liability of Techslang or any of its representatives, affiliates, agents, licensors, or independent contractor contributors.


7.  LINKS TO THIRD PARTIES, WEBSITES, ADVERTISEMENTS, AND CONTENT

Techslang does not monitor or review any websites, advertisements, or other media that are linked to or available through the Site. It is, therefore, not responsible for the content of any advertisements or links from the aforementioned third parties.


8. DISPUTES

Any disputes that may arise from these Terms of Use of the Site shall be governed by and enforced in accordance with the laws of the UK (regardless of any conflict of law principles). You are giving your irrevocable consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts located in the UK should any dispute materialize.

Any claim arising from these Terms of Use of the Site must begin within one (1) year after the cause of such action has arisen, otherwise, it is deemed permanently barred and you agree to a waiver after such date.  


9.  COMPLETE AGREEMENT

The Terms of Use represents the sole and complete agreement between Techslang and its users with respect to the Site. It supersedes all previous written and oral agreements, representations, and warranties.

This Privacy Policy describes our practices in collecting information through Techslang.com and its affiliated sites (to be collectively referred to as the “Site”), in order to help you decide how to share information when you use the site.
