After many sleepless nights and stressful days developing a software product, the company’s developers and production team are finally ready to put their baby to work.

That brings them the reckoning process called the production environment. In this setting, the product is delivered or made available to its intended users and, therefore, needs to work perfectly.

A production environment is different from a testing environment where company developers test the codes and updates but have the luxury of going back to the drawing board if any problem is encountered.

In a production environment, everything is assumed to be perfect, and there’s no chance to undo the bad press if anything goes wrong.
